sisu Origins
The word sisu also originates from Finland and is a philosophy or ethos which, when translated, means strength of will, perseverance against utmost odds or determination to do what must be done, regardless of what it takes. It is an almost magical quality, a combination of stamina, pursuance, and courage held in reserve for difficult times. This was discovered some time after opening but can be used to aptly describe the standards and service we aim to provide.
Our Salon
Come in, relax, sit back and interact with a session stylist and experience not only a fabulous haircut, but also be coached one-to-one on how to achieve and maintain your new look.
The salon is open Monday to Friday 10am last appointment 6:00pm*, and Saturdays 9am last appointment 4:00pm*
*subject to session stylist availability.
The salon is easy to find located at the top of Whiteladies Road/bottom of Blackboy Hill. Just look for the colourful sisu logo.
The salon offers clients the use of free WiFi internet access.
Our Products
In February 2009 the salon took on board L’anza Healing Colour to complement our commitment to the excellent L’anza range of shampoos, conditioners and treatments in the Healing Hair Care and Healing Style range of hair maintanence, styling and aftercare products.
